Tempos of the Top 3 Finishers at 2023 U.S. Open

The top 3 finishers at the 2023 U.S. Open all swing with different tempos. These tempos all work for them, and while different, they all have one thing in common.

They all swing with a 3:1 ratio of backswing to downswing.  The other thing they have in common (I know I said one thing:) is that they all have an elapsed time of 1.06 seconds or less.  This is much faster than most golfers think!!  

This is no surprise, as we at Tour Tempo have been analyzing and teaching this ratio for almost 20 years.
